The curved base provides plenty of room for chairs to sit comfortably around the table, even when extended, without compromising its distinctive silhouette.

Crafted from solid FSC®-certified European ash, this table will naturally develop character and patina over time. Finished with natural wood oil, the surface can be maintained and refreshed with regular re-oiling, while minor marks and scratches can be repaired over time.

How does the Salamanca extend?

It has a smooth central extension that takes up to 4 leaves — and each leaf adds more space. So you can open it out for entertaining and close it back down for everyday, growing the table as much as you need.

What makes the Salamanca different?

Two things: the extension, and the legs. It extends with up to 4 leaves from a round table, and its organic, curved wooden legs with metal detailing give it a sculptural look. The curved base is designed so chairs sit comfortably around the table even when it's fully extended, without losing its distinctive silhouette.

What sizes does it come in?

Five round base sizes, from 120cm up to 160cm in diameter, each extending with up to four leaves. See the dimensions above for the full list.

What metal colours are available?

Three — Vintage Copper, Black and Brass — for the metal detailing on the legs. Paired with your choice of wood finish, that's a lot of ways to tailor the look.

What's it made from?

Solid FSC®-certified European ash, finished with natural wood oil. It's solid wood throughout, so it develops character and patina over time, and the surface can be re-oiled to refresh it.

Can scratches and marks be repaired?

Yes — because it's solid ash rather than veneer, minor marks and scratches can be sanded and re-oiled over time, so the table can be brought back to its best for years. Read our  guide on how to care for your ash table. 

What finishes are available?

Twelve wood finishes, plus the three metal colours and a choice of edge profiles — so each table is tailored to your interior. 

Does the Salamanca come in a non-extending version?

Yes — the Salamanca also comes in a fixed tabletop option. 

How long will I be waiting?

Around 12–14 weeks from order to delivery. Because it's made to order, it's built fresh to your size, finish and metal colour — we'll keep you posted along the way.

Do you deliver and assemble it?

Yes — we offer free delivery and assembly across Ireland.

Can I see it before I order?

Yes — come and see the ash, the finishes and the metal options in person in our Douglas, Cork showroom.

Do I have to pay it all upfront?

Not at all. Pay in full if you'd rather, or spread it — a 50% deposit gets your order started, and we invoice the balance only once your table is ready to deliver. 

We always recommend that you give your new solid wood furniture a suitable surface treatment before you use it. It is then maintained with a care product (danish oil) 1 - 3 times a year - depending on how much wear and dry air your furniture is exposed to.
