The Lucian Boat Shape Dining Table - FAQs

What makes the Lucian Boat Shape different?

Its shape. Rather than a standard rectangle, the Lucian has a flowing, boat-shaped tabletop — wider in the middle, tapering towards the ends — which gives it movement and a sculptural presence. Paired with its shipbuilding-inspired leg base, it's a real statement in a room.

What sizes does it come in?

Five sizes, from 200cm up to 280cm long (110–120cm wide, depending on size) — so it's a table built for seating a crowd. See the dimensions above for the full list.

What's it made from?

Solid FSC®-certified European ash, finished with natural wood oil. It's solid wood throughout, so it develops character and patina over time, and the surface can be re-oiled to refresh it.

Can scratches and marks be repaired?

Yes — because it's solid ash rather than veneer, minor marks and scratches can be sanded and re-oiled over time, so the table can be brought back to its best for years.

What finishes are available?

Twelve wood finishes, so each table is tailored to your interior. Get in touch about the finishes and any customisation.

Does the Lucian come in other shapes?

Yes — as well as the boat shape, the Lucian collection comes in round dining tables, in fixed and extendable options. Browse the other options.

How long will I be waiting?

Around 12–14 weeks from order to delivery. Because it's made to order, it's built fresh to your size and finish — we'll keep you posted along the way.

Can I see it before I order?

No, this is part of our online exclusive range. However, we have a round Lucian Table on display in our showroom.

Do I have to pay it all up front?

Not at all. Pay in full if you'd rather, or spread it — a 50% deposit gets your order started, and we invoice the balance only once your table is ready to deliver.
